I watched this sermon on Wednesday evening after receiving a text from a friend telling me that the Sunday Jan 22 sermon quote came right out of your mouth unquote When I asked how so she told me it was my perspective and what I have observed about church history and the Church today,
His message was very resonant for me. i have had questions and concerns about the flavour direction and focus of the Church for a very long time particularly the past 6 or 7 years and specifically the (mostly North American) Evangelical Church I feel very validated, heard and oddly fulfilled & somewhat comforted after watching it I hope to do so again at least once before this coming Sunday message again from Melt This message was almost like a signal or sign from the Lord for me. i have been so heartsick about this for ages and was beginning to wonder if I was our to lunch or in error or mistaken or this wasn,t important for the rest of us Christians. Now, at least, it seems I am not alone in my questions and disquiet & concern.
