Every year before Christmas, we dedicate one Sunday to the kids where they lead us for the morning.

There is going to be a WCV Men’s Night at Sherwood and Jocelyn’s house on May 24^th from 6-9pm.  It will be a BBQ and hang out time! All men welcome! Please connect with the office for the address and to RSVP!

What to bring:

1. A shareable salad, side or beverage.  If what you bring has nuts/gluten, please label it. Hotdogs and hamburgers will be provided.
2. Bring runners or shoes for doing fun stuff outside. There will be opportunity to play some games – football/ultimate/street hockey or other things.  Does anyone have a croquet/lawn bowling set?
3. Possible street hockey.  If enough people bring sticks, we can play a game of ball hockey.
4. Lawn chair for sitting.
5. Any other fun thing that people like to do outside.
6. In the event of rain, we will be indoors.

WCV will be doing an annual fire drill at the end of the service on Oct 6^th. This is part of WCV’s Plan to Protect policy.  Kids Church will practice leaving their rooms with the volunteers down the designated stairwells. All of the kids and youth will head to the Greenspace,where their parents can pick them up and sign them out.

For both the fire drill and in case of any real emergency, Kid’s Church volunteers will escort children and youth (carrying all of the babies) safely out of the building.

Note>>> As parents, please do not attempt to rush up the stairwells to collect your children, as this will hamper our efforts of getting everyone down the stairs.
